Thank you for your interest in The Home Depot Open to Buy Events. While the next event has not yet been scheduled you may still submit your product information to be considered for a future event. The merchants will be periodically reviewing new product submissions and may set up meetings before the next Open to Buy Event. Please fill out the brief questionnaire to provide The Home Depot with an overview of your company and products.


The Home Depot believes strongly in the protection of intellectual property. Its Value Wheel and other logos as well as its product brands and designs represent tremendous assets of the Company. In order to preserve the rights of others who own intellectual property, care must be taken before any products or ideas are shared. The following requirements allow us to make this opportunity available while protecting the rights of you and of The Home Depot. You must agree to these terms before Home Depot can accept your submission.


  • You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights in the product and that the product is available for sale in the US without violating anyone else's rights.


  • If you are selected for participation in Open to Buy Day, you will be required to execute a mutual nondisclosure agreement. This is to protect both parties' intellectual property during any discussions.


  • In certain circumstances you may lose some of the exclusive rights in your product by submitting it for consideration before it is properly protected. Consult an attorney if you have any questions about protecting your rights.


  • If you are selected to become a supplier to The Home Depot you will be required to sign The Home Depot's Supplier Buying Agreement. In addition, your product and/or factories may be subject to tests and/or audits in accordance with The Home Depot's quality assurance and social and environmental responsibility policies.
